Free-range chicken wings with chilli lime sauce

Let's celebrate, grill and cheer with these spicy chilli lime free-range chicken wings!

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Nature & Respect free-range chicken wings - deep-frozen
  • 2 tbsp paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp BBQ rub
  • 60 g honey
  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 1 lime
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 pinch of sea salt

Preparation

  1. Prepare the BBQ rub quickly and easily. To do this, mix the paprika powder, brown sugar, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, chili powder or cayenne pepper together well.
  2. Season the free-range chicken wings in a bowl with the BBQ rub.
  3. Prepare the sauce: Mix the honey, chili BBQ sauce, butter, a pinch of salt and the juice and zest of half a lime in a bowl.
  4. Roast the free-range chicken wings on the grill preheated to 190-200°C and cook over an indirect heat for approx. 35 minutes.
  5. Turn the finished chicken wings in the sauce and garnish with the lime wedges and zest.
  6. Bon Appétit

If you like it particularly spicy, add a little more chilli.
